Outstanding.
Very nice, on a large lake, short drive to HOF. This place is well maintained. My family used the common room which is comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and professional .Room was clean and comfortable. This was our second time staying in this hotel. After spending the day at the museum, it was nice to have a short drive to the hotel. We especially liked the restaurant at the Lodge and got a great table next to the fireplace.

Snowmobilers Great Lodge.
My family and I traveled to upstate NY for the snowmobiling. The NY snowmobilers blog recommends the Lake House in Richfield Springs for lodging since they can handle large groups and are located on a lake. This Inn also had the most professional and courteous staff I've ever encountered. The night time manager Christine was extremely friendly and responded to our every need with a smile and great service. The entire staff at the Inn saw that we had everything we ever asked for and more. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Always welcome at the Lake House!
Posted Jan 19, 2015 We have been going to the Lake House for years. The first time we went, we fell in love with the hotel itself. It is so welcoming with the wonderful antiques, lighting, hardwood floors, clean rooms, great food and the very friendly staff. We always feel so welcome and that they are actually happy to see us. We are happy to see the outdoor activities during the summer, so many people enjoying the entertainment and the great outdoor fireplaces overlooking the lake! Whenever we want a special weekend away we go to the Lake House to relax and feel right at home!

We had a nice time at the Lake House.
I very much enjoyed my stay at this quaint lodging. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The room, though small, was richly decorated with an appropriate baseball theme. The inn, though off the main road, is located within a short distance from Cooperstown. We will be back for snowmobiling since it is right on the trails.

The Staff makes it here
From the minute you check in, the staff services and accommodations exceed your expectations. Absolutely loved this hotel. Whoever is responsible for the decor did an outstanding job. The rooms were immaculate, comfortable and quiet. It was nice having a good breakfast selection in the morning. Eve and Grace, at the front desk were very accommodating. Grace helped us out with our golf listing as I was not sure we were signed up. She found us listed and added us. Very helpful with local eateries also. The main Lodge was the easiest and best value. Good free breakfast. A 15 minute drive to the center of Cooperstown. We would not hesitate to stay at the Lake House hotel in the future.
